Since Olympics 2012, Waltham Forest became one of the fastest-changing boroughs of London. Walthamstow is yet to be changed for good, by gentrification. Walthamstow Pathways is a film presented at the London Festival of Architecture’s 13th edition centred around urban memory. I directed a short documentary based on the testimonial of a glazier Ron Skelton, a born and bred East Ender who opened a window into the Walthamstow past, marked by working class communities.
